All of the items on this can be found HERE on my personal Amazon Store

Check out my list for must-have Sourdough Baking Tools as well!

    Loaf Pan : https://amzn.to/3unJEt8
From Coffee Cakes, to classic Banana Bread to whole wheat Sandwich Bread, the 9×4 loaf pan is a MUST! I like to have a set of two because I’ll often double a recipe, and I want 2 pans that are exactly the same so that I get a consistent bake. The sharp corners on this pan are my favorite.

    Rubber Spatula: https://amzn.to/3HC8bO6
The workhorse of the kitchen , I am constantly reaching for rubber spatulas to scrape bowls, stir in, fold, and smooth out. Not all spatulas are created equal but these are the perfect balance of function and style.

    Metal Bench Scraper: https://amzn.to/3SmGFcu
I use this tool for cleaning my work surface, scooping up ingredients, and diving dough. There are also plastic bench scrapers, but if I had to choose one, I’d go with the metal. It will last a lifetime, and is so incredibly useful!

    Small Offset Spatula: https://amzn.to/498UEcA
You might not know how badly you need one of these, but guess what? You do! A major difference between bakers and everyone else is the attention to detail, and precision. This little tool helps you create even layers and smooth edges, which are music to a baker’s ears.

    Pastry Brushes: https://amzn.to/3vWiNFc
The small 1-inch to 1.5-inch pastry brush is perfect for brushing on egg wash, brushing on butter or cream! I prefer a brush with natural bristles, compared to the silicone options. They are more precise and delicate with their application.

    Airbake Cookie Sheets: https://amzn.to/3uagttH
If you’ve been here a while, you know that I can’t stop talking about this Airbake cookie sheets. My Mom has literally been using them for 30+ years, and they are the secret to perfectly baked cookies. The layer of air cushioning that is built into the baking sheets provides an even bake, which also prevents your cookies from burning on the bottom.

    Stainless Steel Whisks: https://amzn.to/483Ws64
I love a stainless steel whisk. I prefer a larger one for pancake and muffin batters, and a small one for smaller jobs like egg washes.

    Stand Mixer: https://amzn.to/4bkAUVl
It’s time. You deserve. take the plunge and you’ll never look back. get the big one while you’re at it, because you’re probably going to want to double that chocolate chip cookie recipe.

    Glass mixing bowls: https://amzn.to/49bhtfU
A good set of mixing bowls is crucial. I love these heatproof glass bowls for every task in the kitchen, plus they’re gorgeous!

    Rimmed Baking Sheet: https://amzn.to/4b9lZgG
Buy two because any well-stocked kitchen needs sheet pans for roasting, baking, and broiling.

    Parchment paper Sheets: https://amzn.to/3UfKpiE
Parchment is a life saver! You cookies, bread, and cakes will never stick thanks to parchment paper. Trust me! Sometimes I even reuse it a couple of times from bake to bake.

    Silicone oven mitts: https://amzn.to/3OpFfgi
I’ve been through so many but these silicone oven mitts are a total game changer. They are lined with fabric on the inside, but the silicone outer layer is completely heatproof and won’t burn.

    Some lessons arrive loudly.
Others rise quietly, like dough left alone on the counter. For a long time, I thought progress meant movement—constant checking, adjusting, fixing. If something wasn’t growing fast enough, I assumed I had done something wrong. Bread changed that. Not all growth is visible at first.
Not all progress looks impressive in the moment.
Some of the most important transformations happen in stillness, in warmth, in time no one sees. These days, when something feels slow, I try to remember the bowl of dough on my counter—doing its quiet work without my interference. Some things don’t need force.
They need patience.
And trust. ✨ If this resonated, you might enjoy following along—there’s always another lesson rising here.

always watch your dough, not the clock ⏰ heat speeds up fermentation, and cold slows it down! with spring & summer temps rising, watch your bread timelines - they’ll probably be much shorter in a warmer kitchen! Your dough is well proofed and fermented when it is puffy on top, the surface has bubbles, and the dough a little jiggle to it. follow @lions.bread for more real baking tips to bake the best loaves of artisan bread at home ❤️‍🔥
